Because we need to respect the fact that what we do now can massively affect younger people and generations after in the future. A changing climate will affect a lot – which species survive or not, what food we can grow, natural disasters. We know we do affect the climate but everyone is debating how much. Unfortunately there is a lot of politics here. If you country makes millions from using fossil fuels, would you expect them to take global warming seriously?
