• Question: Why does putting mento's in coke make it explode?

      Did you know the rougher the mento the bigger the explosion! This is because the reaction is created by all the pores on the surface of the mento allowing co2 to be released from the coke. So the more pores the bigger the explosion! If you use a fruit flavor mento which has a waxy surface the reaction wont work, its all down to the surface of the mento which increase the surface area for a reaction!
