• Question: Why does charge have an electrical field?

      That is one of the basic properties of matter. Just like matter has mass, charge is also a property of matter. During the Big Bang, all these forces (electromagnetic, gravity) were combined together. Later on, they got separated into different kinds of forces. So charges have electric field because it’s what they do 🙂 that is their property. Just like objects with masses create gravitational field (that attracts).
