Yes 100%, when i was doing my GCSE’s and starting my A-levels i was always mucking around and getting in trouble. Then in my second year at A-levels i realized that i really needed the marks to get in to University and i really wanted to go, to move away and meet new people and do new things. So i started working harder! I got ok grades, not the best, but i got in to University and then i loved my course. It was exactly what i wanted to do and i found it so interesting, so then not getting in to trouble was easy and i finished top in my class and got the highest mark out of everyone!

Now i look back on some of the things i did at school and think they were really silly, hurting peoples feelings and disrupting the class isn’t really a funny thing to do. But in the end no real damage was done and recently i went back to my old school and saw all the teachers and did a talk to the students. Non of the teachers even remembered how naughty i used to be!

I guess there is a difference between being a bit cheeky and being really horrible. As long as you stay out of the second category i think you will be alright =)
