• Question: What toy did you design and if you have worked with children in and infant school i guess that helps with the toys?

      I am keen not to plug (advertise) something I sell as a company, but as you ask, it’s called the Magic Cloud (http://plingtoys.com/magic_cloud.htm) and it lets children link a real object (like a toy car) to the computer. It uses a sensor called RFID – ask more if you want to know more about this.

      Having worked with children is important part of knowing what to design. That is why it is important that more teachers (and children) now speak to designers to help them make useful stuff. There are too many technologies (like apps) that are made that are useless.
