• Question: what does your work mean?

      That’s a very broad question, could you be a bit more precise? Do you mean what do my current experiments mean or what does a marine biologist mean?

      A marine biologist is someone who studies the biology of the sea, they might look at the physical biology, waves tides, they might look at the cycles, like the water and nutrient cycles, or they might look at the animals in the sea.

      My own experimental work means we can identify coral reefs that are more resilient to climate change, therefore we can direct management toward them. its very hard to protect everything so its better to protect smaller areas but at a higher protection level.
