• Question: do you think we will be able to create technology to understand babies cries

      Fab question, and my answer is yes. Babies are not talking like you and I can, but their cries differ according to the problem. Its their way of saying “oi. Im hungry here”. Mums are good at detecting major differences e.g. tired versus ill, but I think that we can design technology to tell us more. It wont be quite like Family Guy though.

    I read in a book on how things work, and it showd that there has already been animal translators developed for cats and dogs. do you think science projects such as these are worth the time and money it takes to create them?
