• Question: Are your friends jobs very different from yours?

      If you’re talking about my scientist friends, yes we all have very different jobs! For example my two housemates, one works on drought resistance in plants, she’s trying to find crops that will grow better in places like Africa. The other is working on GM crops. I have a friend who works on the sounds of coral reefs and how fish are attracted there and another on ocean acidification which is another impact of climate change.

      I have lots of other friends though my best friends are a nurse, social worker and a photographer.

      Some of my other friends work as architects, web designers, one works on robotic fish….

      So yes they do lots of different things =) I don’t just hang around with my own kind … lol
