How i revise is to keep making notes but making them smaller and smaller each time, so i read all my notes, then i make them in to concise bullet points. Then i make notes again but they all have to fit on two sides of A4 after a while its just words, but it triggers the memory of the original sentences!

Matters what type of exam. If multiple choice then ways to help remember facts will be good. If longer writing tasks, the best way is to practise writing answers to typical questions (past ones or get a friend to suggest some). If that seems a bit dull, even practising speaking what your answers might be can help.

I used to revise by making songs up about what I was learning to catchy tunes. It annoyed people but for me it worked 🙂
