• Question: do you muck about and mess around when you are working in the lab?

      Yes. Too much sometimes. I think mucking is important to let your brain have a rest. The challenge is then getting back to focus on what you were doing before. Mucking about can be anything from being silly (chair races) to playing about with something more constructive (e.g. playing one of the recent iPad learning games to see what we think is good / not so good).

      Yes we do also, you have to be light hearted or you go crazy! if you look on my profile you will see me in my squid hat making a smoky scene from liquid nitrogen! we have lots of fun things in the lab =)

      Sometimes i try train the fish to pose so i can send my friends funny photos with captions in snapchat!

      Most certainly I do. People often play jokes on each other. I’m very bad when it comes to dry ice – I can’t wait to play around with the stuff when it comes it even though I really shouldn’t
